Life Update

Hey guys

How are ye?? Hope ye are all well. Can we take a minute to talk about the fact that Christmas is only around the corner... OMG i love this time of year right now because we get to dress in all the beautiful Autumn colours and its still mild enough.. i hate the cold so im dreading the winter already. All that aside i have had a weird few months and if you follow me on instagram you might already know that i went for an eye test back in may and the optician noticed something a bit off behind my right eye so i had to be sent for an mri which confirmed something was putting pressure on the back of my eye which thankfully isn't a tumour or anything but i was sent for a lumbar puncture which led to me being diagnosed with hydrocephalus (too much cfs fluid in the centre of your brain) google it if intetested in knowing more about it but thats the general explanation of it. Im currently on a waiting list to see a neurologist to see whats the next step.. medication or surgery or just monitoring it. Its not life threatening as far as i know once its detected. So one minute im fine and the next im sitting at home worrying and also waiting is killing me. I just want to know what's next. I get very dizzy and feel like im being pulled forward. I also get blurred vision in my right eye more frequent than before but i just have to get on with it and keep telling myself it could be worse. Ill keep ye updated.

On a more positive note i got a new job. Im the business developer of a really exciting company called shopless who are a personal shopping service through an app. Its in Cork & Dublin at the moment and now coming to Kerry starting off in Killarney. If you are a retailer reading this and would like to know more don't hesitate to contact me. I love the girls behind shopless and i am so glad to be apart of such an amazing team ill leave a link HERE if you want to check it out.

I was at a beautiful wedding at the weekend and i adored my dress so ill pop up a pic so ye can see.

This Michelle Keegan Dress is on sale on On littlewoods and it was so comfortable on.

Carnival Time

Hey guys

How are ye? Its been a HOT MINUTE since my last post. I hit a wall i wont lie but im back and ready to get stuck in. Im doing a blog post about the new Bperfect & Stacie Marie carnival palette. I will also be doing a YouTube video but i will keep ye posted on when that goes up.

The palette consists of 17 vibrant matte shades, 7 high pigment shimmers and 2 highlighters.

I love the packaging.

Isn't it just beautiful.

Ok the pigment in these shadows is INSANE and its by far the best palette i have ever bought. I would never push a product on any of ye unless i truely believed it was worth spending your hard earned money on but ye need this palette. It has so many different colours which means you can create SO MANY different looks from the 1 palette so whether you are just a make up lover or a make up artist this palette would be great to add to your collection/kit. They all blend out soooooo seamlessly, the palette is huge and it includes a big mirror which is always handy. I ordered mine off the bperfect website Here and it was at my door the day after and i honestly havent put it down since. Its €45 but well worth every cent in my eyes. It can be bought in any pharmacy that stock the bperfect brand or from beauty bay Here i will pop some pictures of a few looks i have created below.

I went to the palette launch in cork during the week and luckily got to meet Stacie Marie shes so nice and insanely talented.

This is Brendan ( the founder of Bperfect cosmetics ) with Stacie

Here are swatches of the shimmers from the palette.

These looks are not for the faint hearted but i love them.

Thats all for now

Dripping in GOLD

Hey guys.

How are ye? I cant believe its July already its crazy how quick the year is going. We are married 6 months and our youngest daughter just turned 3. If ye haven't guessed by the title im doing a post about the Sosu by SJ dripping in gold tan. I bought the medium mousse for €21.95 in sheahans pharmacy killarney but i will leave a link Here to the website. I first wore it on holidays and it went patchy on my legs from the salt water but i just reapplied it and it was perfect again but i decided to get it all off me when i came home and start again and it was perfect. It smells unreal, its dries quick, it doesnt transfer to the bed sheets, it wears off evenly and it is really moisturising so yes a big 10 out of 10 for me. I still love my bperfect 10 second tan in medium coconut so i will be alternating both. At the moment ireland is roasting so i actually have a bit of a natural tan and im loving it.

This is the tan, i love the packaging.

This is a before and after picture. I add a little moisturiser to the tan and pop it on my feet and hands with a stippling brush and its flawless.

Thats all for now

Trip of a lifetime

Hey guys

Its been awhile since my last blog post but hopefully this one will make it worth the wait. If you follow me on my social media platforms you will already know myself and my husband are just back from our honeymoon but if you don't follow my platforms i will leave the links down at the end of this post.

We booked a Mediterranean cruise for 7 nights with a 1 night stay in venice the night before it. We sailed from venice so it made sense to stay for a night and see what it had to offer and it was amazing there, quiet expensive for drink. Food was pretty similar to ireland prices. Its mostly water in venice so there are bridges everywhere and loads of little side streets but getting around on boats is the norm there. They have public boats, taxi boats and gondolas. We were mad to try a gondola while we were there so we went and priced it and were told it was €80 for 25 minutes but we met a couple wanting to go on aswell and they asked would we like to go halves which we did so that worked out handy. I have a vlog up of all this so ye can see what the gondola was like. We stayed in the cutest little hotel called the Antiche Figure and we had a canal view it was perfect. We ate in 2 seperate restaurants there and the food was amazing. We got a water taxi from the hotel to the ship the next day for €70. we headed into the ship and we were instantly amazed with everything aboard. we went for lunch and headed to our stateroom after we had a little wonder around the ship. Then we got ready and went for dinner. Day 2 on the ship we stopped off in Dubrovonik Croatia and it was amazing I would love to go back its 1 of the nicest places iv ever seen. It just had amazing character and you could get lost in its beauty all day. Day 3 was kotor in Montenegro another beautiful place, we went on a tour of budva a town in kotor and it was beautiful too. Day 3 was sailing for the day and day 4 we went to Santorini in Greece that was beautiful aswell we did another tour there and the views were breath taking  day 5 we stopped in katakolon in Greece such a cute little spot with only 613 residents day 6 was sailing and day 7 was back to venice. All the stops were beautiful but Dubrovnik was the nicest by far.

The ship.
Where do i even start? Everything was amazing on board the ship every deck had something different to offer from bars to a theatre, a casino,  beautiful restaurants, amazing shops, a spa, 2 different pools, a climbing rock and a jogging lane there really is something for everyone. The staff can't do enough for you and they are so friendly, the attention to detail is second to none. We will definitely be booking another 1 and we will be bringing the kids 2 they would love it. The food was beautiful every day. We didnt get 1 bad bit of food and the variety of food is brilliant too, again something for everyone. The rooms are basic enough but they have everything you need. I would highly recommend going on one.

Just 1 tip for venice when your walking through with your suitcase fellas offer to "help" you carry them but they charge afterwards we knew they would expect money for the 2 minute walk so offered a fiver but they wanted €20 each. We obviously didn't give it to them but they did chance their arms so be careful. Other than that everything was perfect. Ill leave a link to the vlog Here if ye want to watch it & subscribe to my channel please.

Also here are links to my Instagram & Facebook if you would like to follow me.

This is just 1 beautiful picture of Santorini.

L.O.V Cosmetics Review

Hey guys

How are ye? As ye can see by the post I'm talking about lov cosmetics, I received a few products from the range from a local pharmacy in Killarney called sheahans they are the only stockists of the brand in Killarney and it was my first time trying the brand so I was delighted to get my hands on them. I was given a foundation, a concealer, a mascara, an eyeshadow palette, a single eye shadow, a lip liner, a lipstick and a nail varnish so quite a few bits. I will put pictures of the products and them on me. I tried them all a few times now so I can give my thoughts on them.

The foundation i was given was the lov time 18 hour long lasting foundation its a velvet matte finish and i LOVE it i really do. Its perfect for day time as its not too full coverage but its buildable so it would definitely work for night time too. Im going to do a youtube video using it during the week and ill let ye know when its up. The foundation is €12.95.

Thats the foundation on..

I havent used the concealer or mascara enough to review them but i will soon.

Next up was a lip liner and lipstick and honestly these are my favourite 2 items i was given.

Im wearing them both here and i just think they are a beautiful shade of pink. The lip liner is in the shade saneia and its €6.95 and the lipstick is in the shade yvonne's pink and its €11.95.

I was given an eyeshadow pallette a single eyeshadow and a nail varnish but i think ill keep the eyeshadows for a youtube video this week if ye like? Let me know please.

If ye would like to follow me on my social media accounts i will leave all the links here.

Current Loves and Lusts

Hey guys hope ye all had a great weekend. I haven't done a loves and lusts post in months so it's long over due. So lets jump right into it.

LOVES

1. The Bbold contour & highlight pallette. It has 3 shades. Contour, Bronzer & highlighter. I love the bronzer the most and the contour also. I only use the highlight shade the odd time because i like my highlight to be seen from the moon and this shade is more of a natural highlight. This comes with a free brush and i love this too. Its the perfect shape and size for bronzing and sculpting those cheek bones. its €22.95 which is great considering you get the brush too. Most chemists have this. I picked mine up in the parkroad pharmacy killarney.

2. The Catwalk HQ tan remover. Trust me when I tell ye this product is a god send. You put it on over old stubborn tan and leave it for 10 minutes then exfoliate it with an exfoliating glove/mitt and rinse it off and it all just washes down the drain.. no better feeling I think personally. It smells lovely and leaves me feeling so soft and squeaky clean. I got mine in sewells pharmacy Killarney for €12.

3. The Luna by Lisa Jordan liquid eyeshadows are a dream. they come in 2 shades in the 1 box for €25. The 2 shades are Rose Quartz and Midnight Onyx. They are really easy to apply and they really glam up any eyeshadow look. I got these in sheehans pharmacy.

This is the rose quartz on x

This is the midnight onyx x

This is what they look like. They are fab x

4. The Sosubysj Vogue lashes are my new favourite lashes they are the ones in the marble boxes and they are re - useable I just love how much volume they give to my lashes and they completely transform my make up once I put them on. They are €12.95. I got mine in Bradley's pharmacykillarney.

This is them on i LOVE them x

5. I know i have talked about this already but the vera mona cake and bake sponge is LIFE if you don't have one you need it.. ill leave a link Here its sold out at the moment but will come back soon.

6. I LOVE this sample beauty pallette its the fiesta pallette they have different ones but i liked this one the most i have a few looks on my instagram using it ill leave a link Here and a link to buy the pallette Here its only £15

LUSTS

1. The plouise palette and base. I NEED these in my life but every time I go to buy them they are out of stock. They are meant to be insane £40 fot the pallette and £10 for the base i NEEEEED them like.

2. The new contour/highlight sticks from sosubysj look divine. I have her complete contour pallette already and i love shade 1 & 3 in that so i think i'd love the light & cool sticks.. €15.95 each and hitting shops the end of this month so cant wait to get my hands on them x also her tan is on the way. I was very kindly sent some to try for our wedding and i loved it so i need that again.

3. The new make up revolution concealers are meant to be AMAZING so i can't wait to try these too and they are so affordable at only €4.99. Take my money....

Thankfully my lusts list is alot shorter than my likes list this time. I have also started a youtube channel i have done 3 proper videos but the lighting in 1 of them is very bad but its all a learning curve so i can only get better i hope. Ill leave a link to it Here and ye can have a look if ye like.

Thats all for now

Luna By Lisa Jordan

Hey guys and girls. Its been awhile since my last blog post sorry for my absence i have started a youtube channel Here ( its still a work in progress) so it took up a bit of my time trying to figure it all out but im back with an exciting post. I have been using the Luna by Lisa Jordan miracle hair treatment for the passed 12 weeks now and it is AMAZING my hair was blonde for so long and in such bad condition even when i went back dark it was still in bits, that was until i picked up this amazing hair treatment. It claims to have 12 amazing benefits for the hair which you can find Here but the 2 that i have really seen for myself have been that it definitely repairs dry/damaged hair &  its an excellent detangler. My brush literally glides through my hair when i use it and iv two daughters who love it also for that reason. I get so many compliments on my hair lately about how good the condition is and its literally down to the Luna hair treatment and don't even get me started on the smell off it. It smells of coconuts it instantly makes me excited for summer when i spray it and its only €16 which is totally worth it in my opinion. Its one of those products i will be using in years to come. So go out and get it and thank me later.

I was nominated for an award for the connect kerry hair and beauty awards a few weeks back for the blogger of the year award and i won. I was in shock when they said my name i really didn't expect to win. Im at this 2 years now so its nice to be recognised for it. It was an amazing event i had such a great time. Thanks to all of ye who voted and who constantly support me.

That's all for now
