Trip of a lifetime

Hey guys

Its been awhile since my last blog post but hopefully this one will make it worth the wait. If you follow me on my social media platforms you will already know myself and my husband are just back from our honeymoon but if you don't follow my platforms i will leave the links down at the end of this post.

We booked a Mediterranean cruise for 7 nights with a 1 night stay in venice the night before it. We sailed from venice so it made sense to stay for a night and see what it had to offer and it was amazing there, quiet expensive for drink. Food was pretty similar to ireland prices. Its mostly water in venice so there are bridges everywhere and loads of little side streets but getting around on boats is the norm there. They have public boats, taxi boats and gondolas. We were mad to try a gondola while we were there so we went and priced it and were told it was €80 for 25 minutes but we met a couple wanting to go on aswell and they asked would we like to go halves which we did so that worked out handy. I have a vlog up of all this so ye can see what the gondola was like. We stayed in the cutest little hotel called the Antiche Figure and we had a canal view it was perfect. We ate in 2 seperate restaurants there and the food was amazing. We got a water taxi from the hotel to the ship the next day for €70. we headed into the ship and we were instantly amazed with everything aboard. we went for lunch and headed to our stateroom after we had a little wonder around the ship. Then we got ready and went for dinner. Day 2 on the ship we stopped off in Dubrovonik Croatia and it was amazing I would love to go back its 1 of the nicest places iv ever seen. It just had amazing character and you could get lost in its beauty all day. Day 3 was kotor in Montenegro another beautiful place, we went on a tour of budva a town in kotor and it was beautiful too. Day 3 was sailing for the day and day 4 we went to Santorini in Greece that was beautiful aswell we did another tour there and the views were breath taking  day 5 we stopped in katakolon in Greece such a cute little spot with only 613 residents day 6 was sailing and day 7 was back to venice. All the stops were beautiful but Dubrovnik was the nicest by far.

The ship.
Where do i even start? Everything was amazing on board the ship every deck had something different to offer from bars to a theatre, a casino,  beautiful restaurants, amazing shops, a spa, 2 different pools, a climbing rock and a jogging lane there really is something for everyone. The staff can't do enough for you and they are so friendly, the attention to detail is second to none. We will definitely be booking another 1 and we will be bringing the kids 2 they would love it. The food was beautiful every day. We didnt get 1 bad bit of food and the variety of food is brilliant too, again something for everyone. The rooms are basic enough but they have everything you need. I would highly recommend going on one.

Just 1 tip for venice when your walking through with your suitcase fellas offer to "help" you carry them but they charge afterwards we knew they would expect money for the 2 minute walk so offered a fiver but they wanted €20 each. We obviously didn't give it to them but they did chance their arms so be careful. Other than that everything was perfect. Ill leave a link to the vlog Here if ye want to watch it & subscribe to my channel please.
