ANXIETY

Writing this is scary and a hard thing to write but it's something that is a part of me so I might as well share it with ye I share everything else with ye. I suffer from anxiety and have done for 10 years on and off. We all have some bit of anxiety in us for example if you were going for a driving test or an interview you would get a bit anxious about it but that's normal it's when you can't handle the anxiety or it gets too much that's when it becomes a problem. It all started for me when my cousin emma was killed in a car accident I'm 2007 she was only 15 and it just threw me completely it was obviously a horrible time for my family and I started thinking about death and dying all the time then and then the anxiety and panic attacks started and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy it's the most horrible feeling in the world and obviously at the start i hadn't a clue what was happening to me but my mom did ( mom's know everything) so I went to the doctor and she suggested counseling which really helped and then I felt ok and stopped going and it all came back again by now I had kaysey my 1st daughter and my anxiety was at its worst I met tim my now fiance and fell in love so my anxiety subsided a bit for awhile but eventually came back because it's always lingering I think whenever your down or weak it pounces on you so eventually it was time for medication and exercise and more counselling which helped again and I was honestly at my happiest I had been since my cousin died life was amazing. We planned another baby and got pregnant  and had a second girl charley who is 8 months old and amazing but with giving birth came the hormones and the anxiety but thankfully no panick attacks thankfully. But this time I know how to deal with them so I'm gonna go back to the exercise. I also got engaged a year ago and have a wedding to plan so that keeps me busy. With great family and friends you can get through anything. The reason I'm writing this though is for anyone male or female going through it it's horrible but it can be treated and you don't need to suffer alone go to your local gp and they will point you in the right direction. I find staying away from strong alcohol helps me too if I go out drinking and have shots of any kind I will be a bag or nerves for a week after so I just stick to west coast coolers and I wake up hangover free. I also find camomile tea helps me relax. If anyone needs to ask me any questions I would be more than happy to help. Thanks for reading

Blog Squad

Hello ladies..

If ye follow me on Facebook or Instagram ye will know I went to the 1st blogsquad event out in the Brehon hotel killarney hosted by the beautiful lisa Jordan,  the beautiful rosie connelly and the hilarious james patrice. I had such a fab day it was so much fun. The tickets were €75 each which included a goodie bag and afternoon tea.

These were all the contents of the goodie bag. Can't wait to use them.

There were make up demos a fashion show and general blog talk it was a really fun girly day the afternoon tea was fab too it was really worth the price. The 2 girls lisa and rosie were so nice and down to earth I was over the moon to meet them face to face because I follow them on snapchat Instagram and Facebook. They are so beautiful I didn't want to stand next to them lol... but I did.

James patrice had us all in stitches throughout the day he's hilarious.

I won 2 of the spot prizes as well so I'm delighted with them I won a jewellery cleaning kit which will be great for cleaning my engagement ring and I won kevin murphy blonde angel shampoo and conditioner I can't wait to use them.

Pat o neil was out there doing hair demos too he's got a salon out in the Brehon hotel but most of ye from killarney will know him he's been a hairdresser here for years. He's very talented.

Lisa Jordans best friend emma was there too talking about her weightless journey she lost loads of weight and she's now a personal trainer she looks amazing and is so inspirational.

So all in all it was an amazing day and I hope to go to more events like it. In other news I dyed my hair grey/silver.. I love it. I always go to the same hairdresser tara from Ilona Louise salon I wouldn't trust anyone else and i think she did an amazing job.

valentines weekend

Hello ladies

Hope ye all had a fab wknd. I definitely did it was nice and relaxing. We won a hamper from the carryout on the muckross road with a bottle of red wine a bottle of white wine a bottle of champagne and chocolates. I had 1 glass of the white wine and gave the rest to my mom. I can't wait to open the champagne. And I polished the chocolates of course haha.

We then went for dinner in the casita mexicana mexican restaurant in killarney it was amazing the staff and food are fab. We spent all day today with my mom and the kids. I got a fab handmade card during the week from kaysey and a fab card and bunch of flowers off tim this morning so I'm happy out .

     

I played around with my make up a bit this weekend because I'm gone into it alot lately ill pop 2 pictures here and if ye want to know any of the products I used don't be afraid to ask. 

Finally I seen tops like these online so I had to get them made for my 2 girls I loved them.. I got dave at smart custom wear to make therm he's very good and well priced.. 

So that was my weekend. I hope ye all had a good one as well.

Sosucontour pallete

Hello ladies..

So as ye can see by the title I'm talking about the sosucontour pallette by Suzanne Jackson.

It consists of 6 shades 4 cream and 2 powder. Shade 1 and 2 are what I used to highlight and contour with. I contoured in the hollow of my cheeks my temples my forehead my jaw line and my nose. I highlighted under my eyes down the middle of my nose my forehead my cupids bow and my chin. I set the highlight with shade 3 and I highlighted with shade 5. I haven't used shade 3 or 6 yet but will do.

I have only ever used 1 other cream contour pallette before and I wasn't mad about it. So I was a bit sceptical about buying this 1 but I had to try it of course. As I was applying it I was thinking no this isn't going to suit me at all but I persevered and blended until my hand nearly fell off (which is the key) and maybe why I didn't get on with the 1st cream contour pallete I used. So for me I always prime my face and put a foundation on 1st. I used the inglot hd foundation in the number 76.. I used a thin layer and contoured after.. I LOVE the pallette and im really happy with the end result. I can't wait to use it time and time again and I think for €29.95 you can't go wrong. I got mine in bradleys pharmacy killarney.

Spa day

Hello ladies...

Yesterday I went for a spa day to the brehon hotel and angsana spa killarney co kerry. Tim (my fiance) got it for me as 1 of my Christmas presents and I only got around to using it yesterday. It was AMAZING.

Iv gone to 1 or 2 other spas and I must say it was the best massage I have gotten in Ireland. The last massage I had like it was in Thailand. All the therapist's in the Brehon are trained in Thailand and you will never beat a thai massage therapist in my eyes. My voucher consisted of 60 minutes in the vitality suite,  60 minute full body massage,  a 30 minute facial,  30 minutes relaxation after and a light lunch!

I literally nearly fell asleep on the table it was so relaxing! I had my lunch before my treatment because I was booked in for 3 o clock and the food was fab too.

The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful and it was a fab treat to get. Over all my 1st experience there was great and I will definitely be going back. I would highly recommend it.

I was given some ginger tea and fresh fruit afterwards which was fabulous 2 I can't wait to go back again.
