December loves and lusts

Hey all hope ye are well.

This month is the best month of the year it brings family and friends together and it's so festive and full of great nights out with friends and great cosy movie days in front of the fire with your family but for some people it is probably the worst time of the year especially anyone who is alone at Christmas or has lost a loved one recently or the homeless. So for this month I'm not going to do a loves and lusts list I'm just hoping and wishing that whoever you are and wherever in the world you are reading this from I hope you have a great month and an amazing Christmas full of love cheer and happiness and of course we all love getting presents under the Christmas tree especially if you have kids it's extra special but once you have a roof over your head, food on the table and people to love who love you back then that's the most important thing because not everyone has that luxury...

As always thanks for reading and thanks for the support since starting my blog

LOVES AND LUSTS

Hey all hope ye are well. I haven't wrote a blog post in ages. (Sorry) I have started a new part time job so between that and the kids iv been so busy but loving it thankfully. So I'm going to jump right into my current loves and lusts.

LOVES

1. I picked up these amazing brushes at a blogger event in limerick from nima brushes and I fell in love it is a complete starter set with 7 brushes a powder brush a flat top kabuki brush a fluffy blending brush a flat shader brush a pencil brush an eyeliner/brow brush and a concealer brush. You literally can do your whole face with this 1 set and it comes with a fab storage pouch to keep the brushes in to protect them and to use when you are traveling. They are €45 which is great value they are so soft and luxurious. I love them. You can get yours Here

2. Autumn colour themed eyeshadow's.. I'm in love and can't stop using these colours oranges reds browns yellows and golds I'm so drawn to them. 2 palettes I'm loving in particular are a pallette I made up from inglots freedom system I picked up a few weeks ago and a make up revolution pallette iv only picked up this weekend I literally fell in love straight away with them both. It was my first time picking up inglot shadows and they are amazing they are only €6 each I only picked up 4 and a pallette to store them and a gold pigment their pigments are amazing. The make up revolution pallette was only €9 -€10 for 16 shadows some matte some shimmer but the pigment and blendability of these shadows for that price is AMAZING it's out of stock on the matte to metallic Web store at the moment but if there is a make up revolution stand close to you it should be there.

These are the Inglot shadows

This is a look I created using them.

This is the make up revolution pallette.

3. So sue me contour pallette ( I have had for ages) only really starting to use it with the last month and I LOVE  it and the so sue highlight pallette ( I only have a short time) but OMG the colours in it are to die for like seriously just go out and buy it take my word for it best €30 I have spent in a while..

Fabbbbb

LUSTS

1. Mac soft ochre paint pot and their fix plus I just haven't been to a mac in ages and I know I can order online but I prefer going into the shop. I just want to try these 2 products because I see people raving about them alllllll the time.

2. Disney teacups and saucers... I KNOW some of ye are probably like really.. does she need them and the answer is no I don't but I want them they are so cute and they are Disney hello lol. I'm getting them for Christmas anyway..

3. Push make ups black eyeliner pencil called black caviar iv seen a few people using it and it looks so creamy and amazing but it's ALWAYS sold out when I go to buy it.

Also to add to my post I got the stylepro brush cleaner as a present from someone recently and i don't know if it's worth all the hype I will use it 1 or 2 more times before I say how I feel and also the bellamianta tan I have used once I'm liking it so far but again I will use it a few more times before I give my final verdict ..

That's all for now

Matte made in heaven

Hey everyone

Hope ye are well.. I am writing a post about 3 nude matte lipsticks that range in price from really cheap to a higher price point and which 1 is my favourite and why.

The 3 lipsticks I'm going to talk about are ingot HD matte lip tint in the shade 17, The sleek matte me in the shade birthday suit and the penneys/primark super matte liquid lipstick in the shade 01 Kim.

So swatched on my hand they are all similar enough shades these are the kind of shades I go for the pinky nudes or beige nudes.

So 1st up is the ingot HD lip tint it retails at €22 and I love the colour I do however find it goes flakey on my lips and it didn't always do that so I don't know why it does that and for the price it shouldn't really. I love inglot products and use a good few of them but this 1 just doesn't work for me.

The next 1 is the sleek matte me in birthday suit it's €7 and I love it. It literally doesn't move for the day i only need 1 application and I'm good to go. It doesn't dry up or crack it's amazing and it's so affordable. Win win

Last but not least is the penneys/primark super matte liquid lipstick shade 01/kim I can't remember was it €1.50 or €3.50 but it was no dearer anyway I love the colour of this but I found it dried up my lips they literally felt so dry and shrivelled up I had to apply gloss after an hour but the colour hadn't budged and for the price it's grand to throw on under a gloss I will use it again like.

My favourite is the sleek 1 though and I can't wait to buy more shades of it. Hopefully this was helpful and of use to ye all. As always thanks for reading.

Sonya Skincare Collection (Forever Living)

Hey everyone

Hope ye are all well. Just doing a blog post on a new skincare brand i have been introduced to that i fell in love with straight away so much so that i am now going to be selling these products along with a wide range of Aloe Vera based products. I was given the skincare collection for a week to try out and i loved them so i bought 3 of the 5 products i used and plan on buying the other 2 as soon as i can. Two people have commented on how great my skin looks and how soft it feels so it must be doing something right.

Aloe Purifying Cleanser

This cleanser is infused with aloe, lemon and cucumber extracts it removes all my make up including liquid eyeliner and liquid lipsticks and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated.

Aloe Refreshing Toner

This alcohol free toner has white tea cucumber and aloe in it its so refreshing and doesn't sting like other toners i have tried its obviously because its alcohol free but it feels so good on the skin.

Aloe Balancing Cream

This again has white tea aloe and also vitamin E this rich cream is to help restore and balance your skins natural moisture to leave it feeling hydrated. Amazingly even though its a thick cream it glides across my skin like silk and leaves it so so soft.

Aloe Nourishing Serum

This is my favourite product out of the whole range its so lightweight which makes it effortless to apply and it absorbs into my skin straight away and leaves my skin so soft all day long its my first time using a serum and i literally don't know why i wasn't using one all along. It contains aloe white tea and mimosa bark extracts.

Aloe Deep-Cleansing Exfoliator

This contains aloe and natural jojoba beads and it cleanses and moisturises as it exfoliates it leaves my skin feeling so smooth and firm at the same time. It says its so effective that you only need to use it 3 times a week but personally i wouldn't use an exfoliator any more than that.

Each product is priced individually or you can get them all in a box together. They are AMAZING if ye would like anymore information on these products don't hesitate to message me and i will get back to ye as soon as i can.

So sue workshop

Hey all.

Hope ye are well. Myself and my friend yvonne attended the so sue me workshop yesterday in The brehon killarney. As a blogger who has started blogging from reading blogs from Suzanne and other bloggers I was only delighted to have been able to buy a ticket before they sold out. The whole day was beautiful I am getting married there so already know the staff are amazing and they make you feel so welcome from the minute you step in the front door. At the door of the event we were greated by Dylan and a girl who's name i didn't catch they were just making sure your name was on the list then Damien Suzannes father who is so nice and such a gas man handed out the goodie bags I went through it on my Snapchat (lorzyloops2) today. Suzanne came out after being introduced by her dad and she firstly talked about blogging and her career path how she got to where she is etc.. there was make up demos from 2 make up artists both on Instagram as @makeupbyfiona_mua and @sineadmurphy_makeup go check them out they are super talented. There was a skin talk about envoiron by monica tolan @mtolanbeauty on instagram. We bought raffle tickets for fab prizes that of course I won none of (I wouldnt win an argument) although i did win an environ goody from monica i cant wait to use it. The money from the raffle went to 2 dog charities which is great there was a prize for best dressed best tweet and best instagram. There was a fashion show the models were beautiful and the clothes they modeled were fab and so affordable. In the middle of the day there was a break for afternoon tea. It was AMAZING and then afterwards there was time for pictures and chats with Suzanne. I bought 1 of her books on the day and she signed it for me we took a picture and had a quick chat I told her I was blogging and general chit chat she's fab and so down to earth I got so inspired on the day it was great hearing how she started and what she was doing before the blog. The tickets were €75 and well worth it! I will definitely go again if she's back in the kingdom.

Isadora review

Hey guys.

Hope ye are well. This post is going to be all about 2 isadora products I was given by the fab girls in the park Road pharmacy. They are a fluid highlighter and a nourishing lip oil. Isadora is a brand I have been using for years and I have always been impressed with their products and they are such a good price point too. So out of the 2 my favourite is definitely the lip oil. I can't get enough of this product it's AMAZING I have been using it every night going to bed and I pop in on during the day if I feel the need. Its my new favourite go to product. Its got argan and avacado oil in it and is flavoured with lime vanilla and rosemary. It's really moisturising and leaves my lips feeling so soft. It feels fab on the lips too it's not too oily and it's not sticky like a lip gloss it's just the perfect consistency. I no coming into the winter months I'm going to go through tubes of it. I'm not sure if it was €15 or €16 but it's definitely worth it.

Now the strobing face glow it's a fluid highlighter basically. I love this product too. I have oily skin so I'm kind of afraid of fluid highlighters because I'm afraid they will make me look like an oily mess so I tested this 3 different ways firstly on the highest points of my face like my cheek bones above my brows and on my cupids bow under my foundation I then tried it by mixing a pump in with my foundation and also just tried it on its own. I loved it on its own because it just gave me a lovely glow without adding anything else to my face and I love it under my foundation but mixing it with my foundation and putting it all over my face just didn't work for me because of my oily skin so if you are a dryer skin type it might work for you but for me just putting it on the highest points of my face before my foundation worked best. It's €16.99 but it's fab and I use it every time I wear make up now I love it.

This is the 1 u use there are 2 shades cool glow and warm glow.

That's all for now

Quick review

Hey guys hope ye are well. Lying here in bed and can't sleep.. so i said I would do the quickest review in history for ye if you follow me on Snapchat @lorzyloops2 you will know I have the cleanse of mitt from Jennifer rock (theskinnerd) i bought mine in what woman want killarney for €5 and I love it but the girls in the park Road pharmacy killarney gave me a pink cleanse off mitt by infinity they are the people who make the orange tan mitts that us girls have used at 1 point or another it's €4 and does exactly the same thing as the blue 1 so if you can't get your hands on the blue 1 i know they are sold out nearly everywhere honestly try the pink 1 they are in my eyes identical u use both with just water and it removes your make up instantly.

This is the both of them.

Foundation Review

Hey all hope ye are well. Today's post is all about the new rimmel FRESHER SKIN foundation. If you follow me on snapchat you will know the lovely girls in the park Road pharmacy killarney gave me a few things to trial and review on here 1 of which was this foundation. So it's supposed to be a breathable natural shine free finish which doesn't clog pores and I would have to agree it's definitely breathable and shine free it doesn't even feel like you are wearing foundation I have used it a few times and each time I used the smallest bit with a stippling brush iv worn it with and without a primer and it was the same each time so a primer made no difference to it. I'd say it's a medium to buildable coverage so perfect for day or night. It contains aloe vera camomile and sea algae extracts which help smooth skin and has a built in spf 15. I am using the 201 classic beige and I love it for day time. I would definitely recommend it. It's available to buy in a few different shades to suits all skin colours and you can purchase it in the park Road pharmacy killarney now. Let me know if any of ye try it and what are your thoughts.

This is what the foundation looks like incase anyone wants to buy it.

This is a picture of me wearing it.

Makeup Revolution Event

Hey guys

Hope ye are well. I went to a makeup revolution event in Bradley's pharmacy killarney last Thursday the 22nd. It was such a fun event held by Jennifer she's 1 half of Matte to metallic they are the brand ambassadors for Make up revolution  and they are make up artists they have an award winning blog also. She did a make up demo on my friend kira and I learned loads of tips and tricks off her the event itself was fab there was drinks and nibbles and goodie bags the tickets were only €5 so I really wasn't expecting a goodie bag she used a fab eyeshadow pallette on kira so I picked that up afterwards it's called fortune favours the brave. It's beautiful and so pigmented it's only around the €15 mark for 30 shades with a mixture of matte glimmer and sheen shadows and a brush. That's a bargain and a half. I had been following matte to metallic on Snapchat so I felt like I knew Jennifer before I met her. She's so down to earth and I really enjoyed meeting her and the event was a fabulous evening and I can't wait for more.

This is the pallette I picked up. It's AMAZING x

This is the beautiful jen pity I didn't get to meet ciara the other half of matte to metallic but I will some day x

This is the make up I wore to the event x

This is jen working her magic on kira.

This is the only picture I have of kira it's a bit dark but her make up was AMAZING...

That's it for now

The best foundation I have ever used

Hey all hope ye are well. I can barely contain my excitement here because I have found the mother ship of foundations. It's the urban decay all nighter foundation.. holy shit it's a game changer. So when it came out I was dying to try it I went back to Debenhams in tralee and got colour matched by the lovely brìd I use the shade 5.0 It was €34 or €36 I actually can't remember. Ill leave a link Here my skin is flawless when I have it on. It's so pigmented that I only needed 1 pump for my entire face a little bit really does go a long way with this I applied it with my ayu face brush and they are a match made in heaven I'll leave a link Here it blends so easily and it has a matte finish which I love because I have oily skin. I love the packaging also it's a gunmetal colour. I cannot fault this product 1 bit both times I wore it it stayed on all day now I did prime my skin set the foundation with powder and a setting spray but I do these steps for all foundations I use and they move or come off towards the end of the day but not this. It's AMAZING it's definitely my all time favourite so far I would suggest to go invest in it but I don't know what it would be like for dry skin types so go in and have a chat with brìd and the girls see which would be best for you.

This is the brush I used to apply it.

This is it both times I used it none of these pictures are filtered.

Current loves and lusts

Hey guys hope ye are all well. As ye can see by the title I'm going to be doing a list of my current loves and all the things I'm lusting after.

Loves:

1. Shadow shields... these have literally upped my eyeshadow game. They obviously shield your face from fall out off of eyeshadow but it also creates a strong clean wing.. I got mine Here off trnd beauty and you get 30 for €10 but if you cut them in half you get 60.. they are amazing x

2. Make up revolution oil control setting spray. Now I have only tried 3 setting sprays in total but this is my favourite. My oily skin doesn't get oily and my make up DOES NOT budge. I brought it to Spain with me and it kept my make up on all night and it was roasting over there I got mine in Bradley's pharmacy in killarney for around the €10 mark I actually can't remember but it's amazing.

3. My urban decay moondust pallette... 1 word AMAZING..... the pigment in these colours is amazing I have created 3 looks from it already and I cant wait to use it over and over again especially around Xmas.

Lusts:

1. I'm dying to try the bellamianta tanning mousse. Iv heard so much about it and I know everyone and their mother has tried it but I have loads of tans at moment so I'll wait until I'm nearly out of tan.

2. The stylepro make up brush cleaner.. I need this in my life it's definitely the next must buy product on my list.

3. The new glitters from glam and Co. OMG aoife swatched them on her Snapchat last nigh and I literally fell in love with all of them... I need them like so I can't wait to order a few..

That's all for now thanks for reading.

My Holiday Must Haves

Hey all

Hope ye are well. I'm just back from a well needed holiday in santa ponsa with the family we went for 5 days it was unreal over there it was so warm and very relaxing. Santa ponsa holds a place in my heart as I lived there for the summer in 07 with a few girls and we had an amazing summer. A very wild summer I might add. Haha but that was many moons ago now this was my 2nd time back since and the memories always come flooding back, it feels like home from home to me. I met some amazing people who are still there so it's nice to catch up with them too. Anyway my top must haves over there were...

1. Cocoa Brown rose gold golden goddess oil. I only wore a full face of make up 1 night as it was too hot but I covered myself in this oil every night I loved it I really did feel like a golden goddess! I picked mine up in penny's for €9.50

Look at the glow down my shin bone!!

This is it without any make up I love the glow it gives

2. The Cleanse off mitt by Jennifer rock (theskinnerd) you just wet it with good old water and use it to take off any make up you have on and voila your squeaky clean it's amazing and it was great at taking off the golden goddess oil also. It was €5 in what women want in killarney.

3. This had to be 1 of the 1st things into my suitcase as I have 2 kids and 1 is only 14 months so it was vital to bring a good suncream.
I plastered this all over both my kids but more so on the toddler and it was brilliant she has eczema and it didn't break her out she didn't get 1 bit burnt and it was over 30° daily. I really don't remember the price it was over €20 anyway but obviously worth it and I got it in the park Road pharmacy killarney.

Hey everyone...

I turned 29 on the 28th of august and I had a fab weekend I went for dinner on the Saturday night in the cellar one restaurant in the http://www.theross.ie/cellar-one-restaurant.html with my fiancé. I was wrecked on the Sunday so spend most of my actual birthday stuck to the couch lol I was spoiled rotten by my fiance kids and family and feel turning 29 wasn't so bad.. we headed out again that night to finish it off nicely and I'm still wrecked but it was definitely worth it.

Breast Check

Hey all

Hope ye are all well.. I'm writing a very personal blog post but 1 I feel needs to be written about. So as ye can probably tell by the title I'm talking about checking your breasts regularly for any lumps or changes that might be occurring. I found a lump in my right breast around 7 weeks ago and went to my doctor who referred me to the breast clinic in the CUH in Cork. I wasn't too concerned as I had been there in 2012 for the same thing and had a cyst removed from my right breast i am left with a small scar and thought the new lump I was feeling was maybe scar tissue or something so I went to Cork and had an ultrasound done and they said it was scar tissue but the lady doing it moved the thing around and found another lump and said they needed to do a biopsy and I would get the results whitin 7-10 days so they took 3 biopsy's and sent me on my way. It wasn't sore they numb the area 1st but I haven't felt any pain so apart from the bruising you wouldn't even know i had anything done.. now I went in feeling OK as I said but I left feeling scared and worried and waiting for the results felt like the longest week of my life but thankfully I got the all clear it was a benign cyst thank God. I thought the worst all week as anyone would but I'm so happy it was good news and I'm so grateful for my life and everyone in it. Ye are stuck with me for another while. The reason I'm sharing this is so ye can go check ye're breast's now. Males and females can get breast cancer but the earlier it's detected the better. Hopefully this post helps at least 1 person out.

To the world you may be 1 person
But to 1 person u are the world

Cocoa Brown Kind go BIG

Hey ladies hope ye are well..

It's been a while since I have done a blog post I'm feeling very demotivated. Maybe it's because my blog didn't make it onto the shortlist of the littlewoods Ireland blog awards but look 2017 is another year.. anyway I'm super excited that the cocoa brown kind range are now available in the 200ml size I can't rave enough about them. I'm telling everyone and Their mothers about them. They make my hair so smooth and silky my hair is in bits from bleaching it but this shampoo/conditioner are a god send. My 1 year old suffers from eczema and these products are all I can use on her without her flaring up. I get mine in penneys/primark for €3 each BARGAIN. I will leave some information below about them but trust me and go buy them ye won't regret it.

July Loves and Lusts

Hey all. Hope ye are well. As ye can see by the title this is about the things i have been loving and lusting after in July. My birthday is coming up so im hoping some of these will be in my possession soon lol.

Loves

1. So i have mentioned this on the blog before but i am loving it so much that it needs another mention. The Cocoa Brown kind range of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel iv run out of all 3 and cant wait to repurchase them when the bigger bottles come out. The shampoo and conditioner are amazing for my dry damaged hair my hair brush just glides through my hair after i use these, but my the shower gel has to be my fave out of the 3 simply because i can use it on my baby who has eczema on her back and flares up when we use any shower gel or bubble bath except this 1. How amazing is that like. I cant recommend these enough!

2. Cailyn Brow Gel in the shade Cocoa is my fave brow product that i have ever used EVER.... It glides on and does not budge but its still easy to take off. Its the perfect shade for me and i just love it. And it has a built in brush. Its 20 euros but worth every penney. I got mine off cara pharmacy but ill leave a link here if ye want to buy it.

3. Make up lol i know thats an obvious 1 but i did the 20 day make up challenge laura dempsey created on instagram and had so much fun doing it, it was nice to play around with all my make up and create new looks ill leave a link to my insta if ye wanna take a look here.

Lusts

1. These ban.do 17 month agendas from my shining armour are the cutest and anyone who knows me knows i am soooo forgetful so i defo need 1 of these. I'll leave the link here they would be a fab pressie for anyone really.

2. The urban decay moondust pallette looks unreal and since i got the alice in wonderland 1 from urban decay and have 2 of the naked pallettes i just know this 1 is going to be amazing its out August 4th i think. I cant wait to get my hands on it. Ill leave a link here.

3. I have wanted 1 of these for the longest time time now the bombay duck mugs with initials on them oh they are just the cutest things ever like. I'll leave the link here

Thats all for now

PARENTING

Hey all hope ye are well. I'm lying in bed unable to sleep because my mind is on overdrive. I had 1 of those days where I would have been better off if I stayed in bed. Everything went wrong... I had a massive argument with my 8 year old kaysey and I caught my 1 year old charley  fingers in the car door... that's just the tip of the iceberg of how my day went... I'm ridled with guilt now.. I hate fighting with my daughter and obviously I'm not a fan of catching my babies fingers I'm car doors... tomorrow better be a better day. Two woman I look up to and admire so much are Marissa Carter and Katrina Kelly/Perry. They always have their shit together. If ye don't know who they are Marissa Carter is the founder of cocoa brown and Katrina Kelly/Perry is the founder of K2 hair and push make up. Both woman have 2 kids like myself but just make it all look so easy.. I love being me don't get me wrong I'm blessed with what I have and I only want to be a better version of myself from now on but honestly whenever I see their Snapchat stories I feel inspired and I really look up to them. Follow them on Snapchat if ye dont already. Cartermarissa and KatrinaK2hair.   In my day to day life my biggest inspiration is my mom. She rared myself and my brothers all alone while working a full time job I didn't care at the time cause I was a child but now I have my own kids and a loving fiance I don't honestly know how she did it alone and continues to be an amazing mother grandmother and woman.

Just my thoughts of today tomorrow will be better kaysey's got a photo shoot for the musical so I must go to sleep busy day ahead tomorrow. As always thanks for reading.
