Product review

Hey guys

Hope ye are all well.. just doing a quick review on a few products from a really exciting brand misslyn cosmetics that I received from the guys at killarney pharmacy. I had never heard of this brand until I seen it in there. Art deco make it so I had high hopes for it and I wasn't left down bar 1 product keep reading and I'll explain. So I was given 3 products.. a primer, a foundation and a Contour blush and highlight trio pallette.

Primer .. time to prime I was given a sample because they only had 1 left so I looked it up and it's supposed to give an even finish on the skin and make a great Base for foundation  (pretty much like all primers) I tried it and liked it. I have only 1 primer I love so I probably will never stop using it but this primer was good also. It's  €14.45 in killarney pharmacy.

Foundation... it's called ultimate stay and it's mattifying oil free it's supposed to last up to 24 hours ( not that you would leave it on that long lol) it says it's suitable for normal to oily skin and sensitive skin and it's dermatologically proven.. so I have worn it 5 times 1 with the primer they gave me 1 without any primer and the other 3 times with a primer I have myself. I love it. It is very mattifying which I look for in a Foundation because I have a very oily t-zone. It's very easy to blend and i would say it's medium to full coverage. You can build it up which I did on a night out. I do find I start to get oily after 6 or 7 hours but iv yet to find a foundation that stays matte on me for more than that. I have the shade medium beige rose and I find it a nice shade for me but there are a good few shades to chose from It's  €17.45 for a 30ml bottle which is very good.. it works as well as any high end foundations I have but for half the price. They also do a dewy finish one which would be more suitable for normal to dry skin types.

Contour blush and highlight trio..... I love the Contour shade and the blush but the highlight was such a let down... it's literally like a translucent pressed powder. It hasn't got one bit of shimmer in it the Contour is a nice warm toned brown.. a little goes  a long way and the blush is a fab pink shade it costs €12.95 I would definitely re purchase just for the Contour and blush..

I hope ye enjoyed reading this review and I look forward to trying more misslyn cosmetics products in the future

That's all for now

Make up revolution final

Hey all hope ye are well.

Today marks a week from the make up revolution final and although I didn't win I had an amazing night. It was on last Wednesday night in the red cow moran hotel in Dublin. Myself and 2 of the girls went up and checked in for the night and my cousin met us there she lives in Dublin. Myself and the other 4 finalists were given a table each for our friends/ family and ourselves. Everyone in my family was working and it was such short notice they couldn't get it off but I was delighted the 3 girls were able to make it and the 2 girls Nicola and Emma from Prosecco and heels blog were there so they sat with us it was so nice to meet them I had been following them for awhile on social media and they are fab. It was so nice to meet all the other finalists too after seeing each others faces all over Facebook for the passed month I felt like I knew them haha. Each of us were interviewed by amber dean( she's amazing) and then judged by her fabiana( fabsy make up) and the girls from matte to metallic jen and ciara.. as I said I didn't win a girl named alannah did and I was delighted for her she deserved it all her make up looks were amazing. Each of the finalists were given a hamper each full of make up revolution products I was delighted with it it has EVERYTHING in it. It was a great night and it was great to meet everyone and it was an amazing experience I'm so proud of myself for getting to the final 5 out of 30 andit was a nice night away. I went into the city the next day and bought my wedding shoes ( I don't have my dress) haha but I can work the dress around the shoes now.. I'm in love with them..... I won't be showing them to anyone until the wedding though sorry...

Save v splurge

Hey guys & gals

Hope ye are all well. This post is going to be about 2 charcoal face masks. I tried out 2 different masks at the same time 1 on either side of my face to see how they both worked against each other. I used the GLAMGLOW mud mask and the loreal pure clay clearing mask. I have been using glam glow for months now and I LOVE it and i get so many questions on my snapchat about it. It costs €45 on Boots.ie or €37.50 in the duty free and I use it once a week or every 2 weeks depending on my skin it really pulls all the dirt out of my pores and makes them appear smaller instantly so I was interested to see if the loreal 1 was any good especially since its roughly €12  I got mine on sale for €8 in sewells pharmacy killarney they both do the same thing in my opinion glam glow just works alot quicker and it tingles when I put it on whereas the loreal one doesn't and they smell completely different. My face was a little red on the side I had the loreal mask but it didn't last that long. They both left my face clean and feeling really soft. I will be re purchasing glam glow once in awhile as a luxury product but I will use the loreal 1 in between when I can't afford the glam glow. My advise is get whichever 1 you can afford but they are both AMAZING...

These are what they both look like

Both of them on together
